So, we got in late last night (about midnight)…traveling went pretty smoothly except Ben’s checked bag got left behind in Paris…it should be delivered later today…so at least it’s not forever lost! We’re staying with an american couple here (Steve & Robin Smith) who work with Truth Seekers (my friend Sunil’s organization), they are great…very hospitible. This morning we got settled in, exchanged cash, had lunch with Sunil & Steve and visited TruthSeeker’s office. There was a guy at the office who is the elected leader of a caste level who has 5 million people in it! He’s working with Sunil to use cultural connections to the Hindu “supreem god” (Mahadiv) with Jesus…quite interesting stuff. Sunil’s told me aboth this before, but it’s great to be here, much more visual and experiencial. Anyway, we’re trying to get travel arrangements settled for Agra on Thursday and Dharamsala for the remaining part of our trip, then we’re going out to dinner with Pam (Sunil’s wife). Tommorrow we’ll explore Delhi a bit and eat dinner with the web dewsigner Ben has been working with here. Sunell (Sara and my friend from small group) is suposed to be arriving later today!!! It’ll be awesome to see him (it’s been over a year!)!! Well, that’s it for me…I’ll see if sara has anything to say:-) (we’re going to share this space) Oh, and don’t expect an update each day (Jim) and spellcheck is probably not going to happen (I’m assuming kathy!):-)Yo, this is Sara. So we’re in India, craziness!! So far it’s been great just to hang out and the jet lag hasn’t seem to be a factor yet but i hear it will get more difficult in the next few hours. So we’ll see. I’m really excited about seeing our friend Sunell which Craig already mentioned!! Other than that it was great to meet Sunil and see and hear about what they are doing here. So it will be great to hang with them and catch up with Sunell these couple days in Dehli. No funny stories yet, but i’m sure those are soon to come:>
